Today we filmed the last portion of our thriller opening,this consisted of a variety of shots around the crime board and a detective, played by Lucy, pinning the evidence together. The props we used for this scene were placed together carefully bearing in mind that we had a lack of time for our final piece to be uploaded also trying to upload and edit all within the hour. The last 20 seconds of our opening piece together what the final narrative will be about and as to why the focus is on Lucas's character so much. We have worked on these shots since getting constructive criticism from peers and teachers, only when we did intense planning was it easy for us to get the last portion filmed. June had bought the crime board whilst myself and Lucy researched the layouts of a crime board and the different images and evidence are used in traditional crime boards. We drew inspiration from TV shows and real life crime boards for famous investigations. On the crime board can be found notes of the male characters mental state, notes on schizophrenia, letters, maps and observational candid photos of Lucas to suggest the police had been following him for a while.
